asdf This was precisely what I was looking for at this time. The ideal for me is to eventually upgrade to a power rack, but with low basement ceilings, it will have to be a 6′ rack. So for now, I got this. I’m not moving a ton of weight, so the rack and the spotter arms more than suffice.Critiques:The spotter arms are good, but I wish they were a bit longer. OK for beginners only. The uprights are the weak link, but the bench is pretty good. I used this bench for two years as my first piece of freeweight equipment. As a beginner starting out using just an empty barbell for bench press and squat, this bench is very versatile as it allows you to perform upper and lower body workouts with the adjustable uprights. Once my major lifts got over 155lbs though, I found the uprights were not stable enough and the safety bars were too short to provide adequate protection.
